The summer climbing season is currently kicking off at Céüse, for many quite simply the best crag in the world, and French climber Nico Pelorson has already left his mark with the first repeat of Megos Proof, an 8c+ freed a few years ago in the sector Demi-Lune by Alexander Megos. Above all though, Pelorson has made the first ascent of Spoilt Kid.
This line was bolted by Quentin Chastagnier and attempted by various climbers including Megos, who broke one of the crux holds during his redpoint attempt. The grade now settles in at around 9a but, more importantly, is the fact that Pelorson has left his mark in the most impressive sector of all, Biographie.
