Sébastien Bouin blasts up Biographie at Céüse
It was predictable that sooner or later Sébastien Bouin would lay his hands on Biographie, the world’s most famous 9a+ freed at Céüse in France by Chris Sharma almost two decades ago. 29-year-old Bouin is one of the strongest French climbers and monumental Biographie certainly couldn’t be missing from his impressive list of ascents, also because with his Vintage Rock Tour he is currently repeating some of his country’s most representative sports climbs of the ‘80s and ‘90s.
After visiting Buoux and the Verdon, Seb travelled to Céüse where after several trips he sent the 60+ move test of technique and endurance envisaged by Jean-Christophe Lafaille in the early 1990s.
