It's time to return to the crag... but safety first with Climbing Technology always comes first!
While some climbers brave the crag even in winter, most return with the arrival of spring - longer days, warmer temperatures, and dry rock make for a more enjoyable climbing experience. Beyond the grade, rock quality, and approach length, the most critical factor to consider is safety.
On the wall, climbers can rely on secure, high-performing gear - born from a constant pursuit of innovation, driven by passion and dedication. This is the result of a powerful synergy: Climbing Technology’s expertise combined with SKYLOTEC’s legacy of safety.
CLIMBING TECHNOLOGY ABO
ABO is an ultra-lightweight climbing harness designed for technical alpinism, sport climbing, and competitions. Thanks to its clever construction, the ABO works without padding – the ergonomic fit and innovative material ensure a custom-like feel and optimal load distribution. This reduces weight without compromising comfort. The main material originates from sailing, is 100% climate-neutral, and consists of 28–39% recycled post-consumer material (rPES). It is manufactured in Europe, is lightweight and flexible, and offers an extremely compact pack size. The ABO can be packed so small that it fits into a jacket pocket. The seamless, compact tie-in loop makes it easy to tie in and attach carabiners or belay devices. The entire central tie-in point features reflective elements – making tying in easy and efficient even in poor visibility conditions, such as in the dark with a headlamp. The ABO features five gear loops and attachment points for gear carabiners or carry tools.

CLIMBING TECHNOLOGY MORFO UL
PRO SET MORFO SET UL PRO is one of the best sport climbing quickdraws on the market. Its well-thought-out design and the technical features of its components set it apart from less specialized sets. The carabiners are hot-forged, making them particularly robust. Their snag-free nose ensures smooth clipping and unclipping – a major advantage especially for the upper carabiner, as it makes cleaning steep routes significantly easier. The shaped gate of the lower carabiner allows for fast and precise clipping. The carabiner body is reinforced at the apex to reduce wear and extend durability, even under intensive use. Where less force is applied, the cross section has been reduced to optimize the weight-to-strength ratio. The sling is made from UHMWPE – a material that combines low weight, high flexibility, and great durability. Thanks to its variable width design (25/16 mm), additional weight is saved. The wider section also makes it possible to grab the sling as a “temporary handhold” in tough routes when needed. The anti-twist inserts (Fixbar on the top carabiner and Fixpro on the bottom one) keep the quickdraw securely in position and help maintain a clean rope line without carabiner rotation. The quickdraw is available in lengths of 12, 17, and 22 cm.Weight: 107 g (12 cm version) 109 g (17 cm version) 113 g (22 cm version)
CLIMBING TECHNOLOGY MORFO BG
MORFO BG is a modern D-shaped carabiner featuring the innovative BriLock (BG) locking system. This unique mechanism combines the user-friendliness of a screw-lock carabiner with the added safety of an automatic locking function. Unlike conventional autolock systems (e.g. Tri-Lock), the gate remains open when unlocked, allowing for efficient clipping and unclipping. Once locked, the sleeve rotates freely around itself, ensuring the carabiner stays securely closed even under vibration or awkward loading – such as rope movement. This locking system was awarded the ISPO Award in 2024. The D-shape of the MORFO BG ensures optimal load distribution, while the snag-free nose allows for smooth handling when clipping or unclipping gear, ropes, or anchor points. The carabiner body is reinforced at the apex to reduce wear and extend durability, even during intensive use. In areas under less load, the cross-section has been reduced to optimize the strength-to-weight ratio. These features make the MORFO BG the ideal companion for multi-pitch or alpine routes – perfectly suited for belay stations, as a secure attachment point during rappelling, or as an intermediate anchor in routes with suboptimal lines.

CLIMBING TECHNOLOGY CLICK UP+
The CLICK UP+ is a belay device with manual braking, designed specifically for indoor and crag climbing, and allows a leader and a top-roping climber to be belayed. The CLIMBING TECHNOLOGY CLICK UP+ is an evolution of the successful CLICK UP model, named after the “Click-Up” sound when the rope locks. Exceptionally easy and intuitive to use, it allows the belayer to stop a fall by just holding the free end of the rope with their braking hand. The belayer can lower their partner simply by exerting slight pressure on the device while keeping the free end of the rope under tension with their other hand. The CLICK UP+ device’s standout feature is the innovative V-Proof system. This facilitates the activation of the assisted-braking system, reducing errors caused by the incorrect use of the rope during locking. So how does the V-Proof work? To understand this you need to put yourself in the shoes of the belayer, who has to take in and pay out rope to the leader, or take in slack during top-roping. In the event of a fall during either of these processes, the V-shaped angle of separation between the two sections of the rope must be maintained. If this angle narrows, it can prevent the device from working properly when locking the rope. This is where the V-Proof system comes in: it consists of a mobile partition that facilitates the activation of the assisted-braking system if the climber falls and his or her hand makes contact with the partition, by helping the belay device to rotate and lock on the rope. Paying out rope is even easier, faster and smoother with CLICK UP+ too, thanks to the ergonomic geometry of the body and the new carabiner holding layout. The special V-shaped friction notches guarantee efficient belaying even when the rope has been incorrectly clipped into the device (i.e. the sides are inverted). Light, compact, ergonomic, the CLICK UP+ can also be used with all dynamic single ropes in the 8.5 to 11 mm range. The CLICK UP+ is sold with and must be used with the specific wear-resistant anodized HMS CONCEPT SGL HC carabiner with the ACL system which prevents minor-axis cross-loading.
