Great Wide Open is a series of 6 short films, directed by Jared Leto, that celebrates America's National Parks and the incredible adventurers who explore them. The first focuses on Yosemite with guide par excellence Tommy Caldwell, the man who in 2015 freed The Dawn Wall on El Capitan, ie. the hardest big wall in the world. Caldwell talks about the "most magical periods of my life", but also about that overwhelming series of events that when he was 21 changed his life forever...
