Route

A true journey that winds its way up a sea of granite. Without a doubt the most popular and sought-after modern route on the Grand Capucin. The climbing is technical and athletic. Being good at placing natural pro is a fundamental prerequistite for success, especially on pitches 8 and 9.

Access
From Rifugio Torino (3375m) traverse west towards Col des Flambeaux. From here continue beneath the cable car and left to then continue at altitude towards the inconfoundable Grand Capucin, situated directly in front of Touronde. From the Bonatti terrace start up a crack with a small roof (peg and sling). Alternatively, climb the first three pitches of “Elixir” (recommended). Descent
Three excellent abseils to the right of the route, and then continue down Voyage selon Gulliver. Gear
A set of medium and small nuts, 2 sets of friends up to size 3.

Meraviglia: finisce e ne vorresti ancora. Di ogni tiro ricordo i passi. Ripetizione in 4 ore e 30, 1999. Grazie V. Folco, nella mia piccolezza sottoscrivo. Le pareti non sono infinite. Spit(con tristezza) ma certamente con pudore. Ma erano tempi di rottura, ricordate Marco Pedrini? Un matto grande!

Bellissima via, sicuramente più tecnica che atletica. Il tiro dei 2 pendoli mi è sembrato difficile rispetto ai gradi delle placche sottostanti

Poco da dire: semplicemente spettacolare. Gradi strani (ho trovato facili alcuni tratti dichiarati difficili e viceversa), forse per il mio maggiore allenamento su placca che nelle fessure ad incastro.

Quì voglio fare una provocazione.Avendo girato tutto l'arco alpino e avendo salito vie molto difficili su molte pareti io oggi dico che Voyage è stata "l'inizio della fine", perchè secondo me si poteva salire senza spit e così facendo si sarebbe ritardato o meglio si sarebbe dato un imput diverso alla chiodatura sul granito del Bianco; ( vedi la storia in Marmolada ).
