On Saturday 29 July 2017 Slovenia’s Janja Garnbret and France’s Romain Desgranges won the third stage of the Lead World Cup 2017 at Briançon in France.

Briancon, France is currently hosting the third stage of the Lead World Cup 2017. The finals take place this evening at 19:30 and will be transmitted in live streaming.

The second stage of the Lead World Cup 2017 was won last night at Chamonix by Marcello Bombardi from Italy and Janja Garnbret from Slovenia.

The fifth stage of the Bouldering World Cup 2017 was won on Saturday 10 June in Vail, Colorado, USA by South Korea’s Jongwon Chon and by Britain’s Shauna Coxsey.

Janja Garnbret, Margo Hayes and Ashima Shiraishi all followed up their Lead victories at the IFSC World Youth Championships in Guangzhou by winning Gold in the Bouldering discipline. They were joined by Borna Cujic, Keita Dohi and Nathan Martin.

Only Italy and Russia topped the Speed podiums of the IFSC World Youth Championships in Guangzhou.

The World Youth Championships are currently being held at Guangzhou in China. The Lead discipline was won by Ashima Shiraishi and Sam Avezou (Youth B), Janja Garnbret and Giorgio Bendazzoli (Youth A) and Margo Hayes and Simon Lorenzi (Juniors)
