ISPO Winter Trade Fair in Munich

ISPO Winter Trade Fair takes place from 2-5 February in Munich
From Saturday 2 to Tuesday 5 February the ISPO, the largest fair in Europe dedicated to the outdoors, opens its doors in Munich. 1.584 companies from 46 different countries will present their product range in what has now become the most important international winter outdoor fair.

The fair opens with the "ISPO Charity Night", during which the ISPO Cup will be awarded to Ingemar Stenmark the Swedish slalom and giant slalom skier, twice Olympic Champion, three times World Champion and three times winner of the World Cup

The "ISPO Special Achievement Award", will be awarded for the first time to personalities who have mastered difficult situations in their lives and thus set an example for society. This year’s award goes to Tomas Fogdö, five times winner of the World Cup in the slalom and in 1993 Overall Winner in the Slalom World Cup. After a serious accident he established the "Active Life Foundation" in 1995, which supports athletes who have also had accidents during competitions or training.
