At the end of October 2022 Scotland's Will Bosi made the third ascent of Alphane at Chironico in Switzerland. Established by America's Shawn Raboutou in April 2022 who suggested the grade 9A/V17, the problem had been repeated a few weeks prior to Bosi by Aidan Roberts. Bosi required a dozen sessions for his send. Here's the footage of his very smooth send, as well as his repeat of Forgotten Gem 8C/V15 and his flash of the über classic Vecchio Leone 8B/13.

Currently there are only two other 9A’s worldwide, Burden of Dreams in Finland, established by Nalle Hukkataival in 2016, and Return of the Sleepwalker at Red Rocks, USA, first ascended by Daniel Woods in 2021. While Return of the Sleepwalker is unrepeated, 23-year-old Bosi made the long-awaited first repeat of Burden of Dreams in April 2023.
