Video: Adam Ondra vs Perfecto Mundo at Margalef, day 4
Adam Ondra is continuing his attempts on Perfecto Mundo, the hardest route at Margalef in Spain and together with Change, La Dura Dura and Vasil Vasil currently one of only four 9b+ in the world.
Some progress has been made: the 27-year-old has found a new kneebar at the fifth bolt, which may allow him to make a no-hands rest for 10 seconds which would be promising. He’s struggling however against the conditions and the route’s inordinate difficulties. As Alexander Megos, Stefano Ghisolfi and Jakob Schubert know all too well, Perfecto Mundo doesn’t give in easily.
