The siblings from Courmayeur Luca and Martina Blanchet have won the Tiro Lead 2021, the peculiar climbing challenge that took place this year in secluded Val Sapin at the foot of Mont Blanc in the Aosta Valley. The "game" consisted in making the first ascent of two difficult sport climbs, bolted by Alberto Gnetto and Federica Mingolla.

Martina was the first woman to free the women's route, Soul Man, with difficulties in the region of 8b +. The "very physical" men's climb, dubbed No Feet No Party, proved too difficult and has as yet has not been freed. The jury decided therefore to award the prize to the first male climber who climbed the women’s route, namely Martina's brother, Luca.

The 2021 edition of Tiro Leader has come to a close therefore and Val Sapin covered in a thick layer of snow. Plans are already underway for the 2022 edition at the same crag; while the men’s route remains unchanged, the women’s route tackles a line slightly further to the right.
