The first news is beginning to trickle through about Kilian Fischhuber's recent six week trip to Australia along with girlfriend Anna Stöhr. Despite unseasonably cold weather, the Austrian boulderer managed to repeat a fair number of difficult boulder problems in the Grampians such as Nalle Hukkataival's world-class problems Parallel Lines FB8A+, On the Beach FB8B and Klem Loskot's classic Ammagamma FB8B.

Beneath what is often described as "one of the world’s greatest cliffs" - the Taipan Wall - Fischhuber made the first ascent of the boulder problem Wave Rock FB8A+ before donning his harness to attempt the extension to Invisible Fist. Where this finishes beneath the blank roof the Austrian boulderer did what he does best, made a sweeping dyno and continued up the black stripes to produce one of the hardest routes up the Taipan Wall. Southern Delight checks in at 8c+ and was sent after five days of effort.
