The surname Remy is a hallmark, a synonym for utmost quality. In their climbing career the brothers Yves and Claude have established more routes than most - more than 15,000 pitches and counting - and unsurprisingly their love for climbing was passed on to them by their father Marcel.

On their father’s request last August the Remy brothers accompanied Marcel up Miroir de l’Argentine, a 450 m high limestone slab in the Swiss Alps. Requiring a long approach, Marcel had already climbing this over 200 times in the past. The only difference now though is that 1923 born Marcel is 94 years old…
