Last Saturday Francesco Salvaterra, Marco Fedrizzi and Luca Tamburini established a demanding new mixed route up the East Face of Presanella. After having bivied at Rifugio Segantini, the three established their Alice in Wonderland in a nine-hour push, with difficulties up to TD M5+/A0, before spending the night at the Orobica bivy on the summit. The route requires stable snow conditions and a long cold spell which reduces the danger of rock fall.
