On Saturday 8 April Giulia Monego, Yannick Boissenot, Francesco Civra Dano, Federico Camangi and I skied the NE couloir of Brèche des Dames Anglaises. It was my fourth time in this gully, I really love returning to this couloir, above all if I can share a descent as absolutely beautiful as this one with good friends.

The beauty of this couloir is linked to its surroundings: wedged between Aiguille Noire and La Blanche de Peuterey, along one of the most prestigious ridges in the entire Mont Blanc massif. The arduous and often complicated approach puts off most skiers, and the number of repeats can be counted on the fingers of one hand. This gully was skied for the first time in 1989 by Swissman Dominique Neuenschwander.
