Salewa RockShow, L'Aquila the place to be!

The Salewa RockShow got off to a surprisingly great start in the newly built “El Cap” climbing wall in L'Aquila where 120 athletes took part in an event marked by healthy competition and serene fun, on 20 problems set by the route setters Luca Parisse and Matteo Cittadini.

Domenico Totani won the event and beat Pietro Radassao from Molise and Piervincenzo De Falcis from nearby Pescara, while the women's event was won by Vanessa Marchionne from Pescara who beat local Luisa Triani and Giulia D’Alonso from Campobasso.

The truly memorable day was rendered complete with a fantastic buffet to celebrate not only the winners but, above all, the new beginning of competitons after almost two and a half years of stop due to the earthquake.
