It's not as if Yosemite needs advertising amongst us climbers, but nevertheless the National Park Foundation has chosen an excellent testimonial to promote the exploration in America's 400 National Parks: Alex Honnold. In this video the American climber talks about the climbing in the Valley, the importance of these National Parks and also of the amazing Yosemite Triple Crown solo ascent carried out in June 2012. He explains "One of the most memorable experiences in Yosemite was climbing Mount Watkins, El Capitan and Half Dome in a single day which required almost 24 hours of climbing and hiking. I just saw so much of the park, climbed so much vertical granite and ended the day on top of of Half Dome looking down across the valley onto all the different things I had climbed, seeing the whole valley laid out below me. It's a pretty powerful experience to be in that kind of place."
