Stellar Laura Rogora makes first repeat of 9b/+ Erebor at Arco in Italy

News flash from Arco, Italy: Laura Rogora has achieved the nigh unthinkable at Eremo di San Paolo in sending Erebor, freed earlier this year by Stefano Ghisolfi who had suggested 9b/+. This grade makes it the hardest sport climb it Italy and only one of handful worldwide.
Rogora’s form is beyond question, and over the years her progression towards the absolute apex of female climbing has been unstoppable. Along with Angela Eiter and Julia Chanourdie she is currently only one of three women to have climbed 9b, Ali hulk sit extension total at Rodellar last summer. However, something indicates that Erebor is in a different league altogether, not just because of its b/+ slashgrade, and this is now the first time ever that a woman has climbed a women of these difficulties.
On his Instagram account first ascensionist Ghisolfi wrote "I am probably the only one in the world who fully understands what this means", indicating that Rogora has achieved something truly superlative. With this form, drive and talent, it is difficult to imagine what her real limit is.
