Sean Bailey makes first ascent of 9A boulder Shaolin at Red Rock, USA
Watch the video of American climber Sean Bailey making the first ascent of Shaolin (9A) at Red Rock, USA
Earlier this year American climber Sean Bailey made the first ascent of a longstanding project at Red Rock he has now called Shaolin and graded 9A. The boulder starts to the right of the famous 8B+ Trieste and sports a distinct crux which can either be climbed statically or with a low-percentage dyno. Bailey opted for the latter to establish his hardest to date and what currently stands as one of only a handful of 9A problems worldwide.
