Quattro giorni un'estate on Sass Pordoi, Dolomites
F. Lasagni and L. Nadali have established "4 giorni una estate" on the Sass Pordoi , Sella, Dolomites
The blistering hot summer resulted in numerous new routes in the Dolomites, especially on the cooler north faces. In August F. Lasagni and L. Nadali established the fourteen pitch "4 giorni una estate", to the left of the massive waterfall on the west face of the Sass Pordoi. The route was climbed from the ground up over an intense four-day period, and weighs in at 6b/6b+ obligatory, with two pitches graded 6c+ and 7a. The 10mm bolts are fairly run out at times (4-8 meters) and a set of wires, friends and kevlar threads may therefore be found useful for added protection. | ||||
