Indian Creek, America's foremost sandstone crack climbing venue, continues to yield new routes. The latest to venture into the Wingate landscape were Neil Kauffman and Trevor Bowman who at the start of April established a handful of new routes they wholy recommend if "looking to avoid the chalkdust torture of the standard Creek 'classics" and find some nice crispy cracks."

The routes are all 5.11, were established from below and are equipped with abseil anchors. Kauffman commented "Although many of the obvious lines have been climbed, there are still new routes to be found in this near limitless landscape of Wingate. My friend Trevor Bowman spotted most of the new routes we climbed recently on hiking reconnasance missions exploring less popular areas. However, even the big cliffs like Scarface and Donnelly Canyon are still yielding new routes. All the new routes have gone up in the same style, ground-up, with the leader hauling the power drill and setting the anchors with nice fat 1/2 inch bolts and chains, the new standard for this area."
