Last week at Siurana in Spain Jakob Schubert redpointed King Capella, for which he suggested 9b, and then La Capella, for which he suggested 9a+. Both on the same day. Put in Schubert’s words: BAM!

It’s worth noting that the 30-year-old doubled his takings a few days later with the third ascent of Furia De Jabali and an impressive flash of Jungle Speed. While waiting for further grade suggestions from the Austrian climbing machine, in the past these two lines have checked in at 9b and 9a respectively.
