Here it is! After the astounding ascent at the start of March, here’s the video documenting Chris Sharma’s first ascent of El bon combat 9b/+ at Cova de Ocell, Spain. The American climber immediately told planetmountain.com that this route was "spectacular, inspiring, though-provoking" with a staggering "five 8A boulder problems stacked one on top of the other, with a few rests, but nothing great." These 25 meters are Sharma’s hardest first ascent to date and, consequently, this is one of the most difficult sport climbs in the world. More importantly though, according to Sharma El bon combat is a true King Line.
