A little less than a year after the first female ascent of the classic Stingray trad crack at Joshua Tree, American climber Brittany Goris has now completed her "impossible dream" by sending East Coast Fist Bump at Flagstaff in Arizona.

The route in question is a trad climb graded 5.14a, 8b+ on the French grading scale, and as such this puts Goris with the select group of elite female climbers who have so far climbed 8b+ on cams and wires. The list includes Madeleine Cope, Hazel Findlay, Lynn Hill, Molly Mitchell, Emilie Pellerin, Beth Rodden, Nadine Wallner, Heather Weidner and Barbara Zangerl.

At the end of 2020at Indian Creek Goris also repeated the 5.13c (8b) From Switzerland with Love and, as seen in the video below, an extension to Didier Berthod’s Tricks are for Kids.
