New guidebook for Finale

The long awaited new guidebook to Finale, one of Italy's and Europe's finest climbing areas

The long awaited new guidebook to Finale, one of Italy's and Europe's finest climbing areas, is to be published at the end of December. Just in time for the Christmas break, FINALE Y2K finally brings an area up-to-date which boasts over 1500 quality routes dotted over more than twenty crags.

The guidebook, written by the local Andrea Gallo's, is translated into English and German, contains 120 drawings, 40 colour photographs and costs Lit. 50.000.

Finale's highly compact pocketed limestone used to be one of the trendiest places to climb in Italy during the mid-80's and it is still highly popular today. With many south facing crags and a mild climate, it may be just the place for Christmas and the New Year.
