In 2010 Elie Chevieux travelled to India to check out the bouldering opportunities in the Baspa Valley in the Himachal Pradesh. There the Swiss climber discovered a magnificent big wall and he returned this year together with Frenchman Yannick Boissenot and Swissman Giovanni Quirici to establish a new route up the hitherto unclimbed peak, circa 4600m high and called The Shoshala.
The expedition lasted two months in total, of which three weeks were spent in base camp waiting for a 3 day spell of good weather which netted them Trishul direc, their circa 700m high new route. This was Giovanni Quirici's last expedition, and the film is a tribute to his life.
