On 21 March 2015 Manuel Baumgartner and his brother Martin made the first ascent of In Vino Veritas, an "interesting ice and mixed climb" up the wild Banc dal Se' peak in the Fanes group in the Dolomites.
After leaving the Pederù hut the two headed towards Rifugio Fanes and, at the last bends, left the main path and scrambled up the scree for an hour to reach the base of the drip. From here two pitches with difficulties up to M8 WI6 led to a ledge system which, breaking off diagonally right, led to the top. "We didn't climb the route direct as the drip had already collapsed, but in the middle of winter is definitely doable," said Baumgartner.
The route was repeated three days later by local mountain Simon Kehrer.
