French alpinist Catherine Destivelle has made a solitary repeat of the Hasse - Brandler route up Cima Grande, Tre Cime di Lavaredo, Dolomites.

On 25 and 26 June, with one bivy on the face, Catherine Destivelle made the first female solo ascent of the historic Hasse - Brandler route, first climbed in 1958 by the Germans Dieter Hasse, Löthar Brandler, Jorg Lehne and Sigfried Low.
The 550m high Hasse-Brandler, which was forged as a 'direttissima up the North Face' can either be climbed with the use of aid as per the first acentionists with difficulties up to 6/A2 or free with max difficulties reaching 7a+. At present the route is wel protected and includes bolted belays.
