In the enormous Bus del Quai grotto, perched beautifully above Italy's Lake Iseo, on 6 January 2014 Angelika Rainer made the first ascent of Kamasutra, the "total dry" route bolted by local Matteo Rivadossi graded D13+ and considered the hardest of its genre in Italy. It's worth remembering that the hardest dry routes, ie climbs on which ice never forms, are currently somewhere in the region of D14. While we wait for "real" icefalls to come into condition, here's the three times Ice Climbing World Champion getting to grips with... some rock.
