My name is Lidia Pesce and I'm the sister of Corrado Pesce. Corrado was a mountain guide who loved the mountains very much and who worked with passion and dedication. At the end of January Corrado climbed Cerro Torre, a mountainover 3,000 meters high located in Patagonia. Unfortunately, during the climb Corrado was struck by an avalanche and died.

Since his death it has not been possible to recover the body, every attempt has failed and unfortunately it will not be possibile to recover the body.

In addition to the immense pain of losing Corrado, we are experiencing another tragedy: the Argentine government has not registered the death of Corrado since, for them, he is still missing. We family members need Corrado's death certificate as soon as possible to support the rights of his 13-year-old daughter who is now without a father.

I would like to ask for your help: please sign this petition in order to raise awareness and petition the Italian and Argentine governments to resolve this unfortunate situation. Thank you very much, from the heart.
