Route

End Child Marriage on the north face of Punta Cusidore tackles an independent line to the left of Cuore di Pietra (Edoardo Asturaro, Cecilia Marchi, Maurizio Oviglia 1992).

The route was climbed making best use of dry spells over a period of 6 days at the start of April, and was established ground-up to the large central ledge system. Due to loose rocks the pair decided to abseil from above to remove unstable blocks and clean the cracks from vegetation, before continuing ground-up once again. All belays are equipped with two bolts and a maillon rapide, and some bolts can be found on the pitches where protecting with cams and nuts proved too dangerous.

Descent

Via the normal descent line on the south face. Alternatively, it is possibile to abseil down the route, although the traverse at R9 presents some challenges.

Gear

1 set of cams from 0.74 - 4, 60m double ropes, slings of various sizes, 13 quickdraws.

All the anchors are equipped with 2 bolts and a maillon rapide.
