The first 30m are great, but then the climbing becomes slightly less interesting. An excellent end-of-the-day climb.

Nice line first ascended in 1983 by the forerunner of ice climbing Alessandro Jaccod. Beware of avalanche danger after heavy snowfall.

This short icefall finishes beneath the overhangs to the right of Candela di Senden and rarely comes into condition.

Il Domatore formed in winter 2009/10 thanks to the significant amount of rain which did not fall in previous seasons. The difficulty refers to the first ascent and may change considerably with more or less ice.

Another great creation by the legendary Alessandro Jaccod. On the second pitch do not belay on the old peg belay on the left, but continue on to the top and belay on the right (bolts).

The icefall is located in a gully just above Gressoney St. Jean, hidden up to today (perhaps) from indiscreet glances. Each of the three pitches of Wait and Bleed differ significantly from each other but each are particular and striking.
