Route
Nice sunny climb, not to be missed. Carefully assess the period and stability if the ice. The final belay is difficult to find, search for it beneath a small overhang on the left. This is a 5 star icefall... or even 6!
Getting there
Take the Turin - Aosta motorway, exit at Pont Saint Martin and continue north along the SR44 into Valle di Gressoney. Reach Gressoney St Jean and then continue to Parletoa. Leave the car in the car park 300m before Parletoa. Access
The icefall is located on the left hand side of the valley and can be seen from the road. Cross the fields to easily reach the base of the route (5-10 min.) Descent
