XVI National Week of hiking

Missing a week at the start of the actual XVI National Week of excursions organized by the CAI, which this year runs between the valleys of the Cadore and Cortina, in the province of Belluno. From June 28 to July 6, 2014 over 60 will initerari trails with hikers from all over Italy where they also expect a lot of cultural events www.settimanaescursionismo2014.it

It starts Sunday, June 22 to 17 at the Cos.mo. in Pieve di Cadore, where the Secretary of the Dolomites Unesco, Marcella Morandini, godmother of the National Week of hiking inaugurate the Historical Exhibition of alpinism Cadore. A review of documents and photographs that tell the origins and evolution of the practice mountaineering in the Dolomites Cadore, edited by photographer Giuseppe Ghedina Ampezzo.

The National Week of hiking the Italian Alpine Club will kick off with the notes of the Symphony of the Dolomites which will be performed by the Orchestra of La Sorgente Classic Ensemble Saturday, June 28th at 21 in the auditorium Cos.Mo. in Pieve di Cadore. And to follow from June 28 until July 6 a rich program of events including exhibitions, theater performances, concerts, book presentations, folklore evenings with local groups and conferences on various topics Sutto scattered mountain territory. In addition, between Saturday, June 28 and Saturday, July 6 will also host the XVI edition of the National Meeting of the Paths over which the paths leading experts will discuss the latest technical, managerial, legal and security issues paths frequented by hikers.
