Gressoney calls for the Red Bull Snowthrill: it's ski time! On 13 March the Red Bull Snowthrill embarks in Italy for the first time ever! After two years of waiting the dream is finally about to come true: the most amazing freeride ski contest is about to take place on Monterosa's ski slopes. The Gressoney valley has been blanketed white after 4 days of continuous snowfall. The result: 100 cm of powder in which the riders can demonstrate their style and ability. On a 500m drop the athletes will provoke each other, challenging one another with jumps, drops and grabs and maybe we will experience the emotion of a backflip: that’s the best way to make Monterosa-Ski really thrill. The riders are expected to arrive on Sunday 12th, but the first contest day will be on 13th March. At present the number of comeptition days is unclear as these always depend on powder conditions, but in the meantime ckeck out the list of riders who will “battle it out” to be crowned as the freeride king, gaining the Red Bull Snowthrill Monterosa 2006 victory THE DATE TO LOOK OUT FOR: 13 MARCH AT GRESSONEY!
