Great organization, breathtaking landscape, wonderful tracks, well-trained athletes: those were some of the most important elements that characterized this edition of the Millet Tour du Rutor Extrême and elevated it to one of the most important events of the ski mountaineering in the world. More than 300 senior teams and about 25 junior and cadets teams participated, with people coming from 18 different nations.

To impose themselves on the others were Matteo Eydallin and Damiano Renzi showing to be in great shape. This final leg saw this team as the absolute protagonists on Château Blanc Glacier. They took the lead at 3320mt on Punta Flambeau, detached the others on Mont Château Blanc (3422 mt) and were the first to cross the finishing line after the long descent toward Planaval.
