ParaClimbing Speed World Championship
The first ParaClimbing Speed World Championship took place in Arco today. 33 athletes from 11 different countries took part in the event.

The first day of the ParaClimbing World Championship in Arco was dedicated to the Speed event. 3 golds went to Italy thanks to Silvia Parente, Matteo Stefani and Simone Salvagnin. 3 went to Spain thanks to Paula De La Calle Pizarro, Domingo Carretero Campon, Urko Carmona Barandiaran. 2 went to Russia thanks to Michail Saparov abd Tatiana Panova. Ukrain was awarded 1 gold medal thanks to Valentina Kurshakova. Hungary received one gold medal thanks to András Szijárto, as did China thanks to Boju Xia.
The competition today was an absolute novelty, seeing that this is the first ever event of its kind. A great point of arrival and, at the same time, an important starting point for sport peaks which can, or rather, must be reached. 33 athletes took part in the Championship representing 11 nations today; all with an incredible desire to return home with this first World Championship title.
