As usual the best 8 athletes have qualified and in the men's event those to beat are Austria's Jakob Schubert - currently #1 in the provisional ranking - and Spain's Ramón Julian Puigblanque who both topped out on the semifinal route. In the women's event local hopes are high for Jessica Pilz and above all for Magdalena Röck who, along with Slovenia's Mina Markovic and South Korea's Jain Kim topped out.
