The final stage of the Lead World Cup 2015 got underway in Kranj today, marked by the unheard of violence and terror in Paris last night and also by the news, at the start of the week, about the tragic death of Rémy Bergasse, the highly talented French climber who had planned to represent his country in Slovenia today. Undoubtedly not an easy final act for anyone.

After this morning's qualifiers, the Semifinals will take place at 20:00 this evening, followed by the finals tomorrow evening at 19:00. The race for overall victory is still on: although Gautier Supper and Mina Markovic lead the provisional raking, their margin is slim meaning that Adam Ondra, Jacob Schubert, Domen Skofic, Romain Desgranges, Jain Kim and Jessica Pilz all stand a chance of winning the Cup.
