Dmitry Sharafutdinov and Anna Stöhr crowned Boulder World Champions at Arco

Two extraordinary finals gave Anna Stöhr from Austria and Dmitry Sharafutdinov from Russia their second world champion titles. Two perfect comeptitions which the great crowd at the Climbing Stadium enjoyed to the max.

In the women's Final Austrian Anna Stöhr became the new (immense) Boulder World Champion, while an incredible Sasha DiGiulian (USA) won silver while the impressive German Juliane Wurm won bronze. They were followed by Yana Chereshneva, Akiyo Noguchi & Olga Bibik.

In the men's Final, Dmitry Sharafutdinov sent all problems in just 5 attempts and won, for the second time after Aviles in 2007, the title World Boulder Champion! Adam Ondra from the Czech Republic won silver and was separated from Sharafutdinov by just the 3 attempts more which he needed to send the 4 beautiful evening problems. The second Russian in the final, Rustam Gelmanov, sent all the acrobatic rebus but in 12 attempts which secured him bronze. Kilian Fischhuber finished 4th, Cédric Lachat 5th and Thomas Tauporn 6th.
