These are decisive moments for the Bouldering World Championship 2014, currently taking place at Munich, Germany. After the qualifiers on Thursday and Friday, this morning the best 20 male and female athletes will compete in the Semifinal to clinch those all-important 6 tickets for the final. There were no particular upsets in the qualifiers, bar the surprise exclusion of one of the favourites, Rustam Gelmanov. The Russian, who won the Bouldering World Cup 2012, evidently failed to find the right rythem in the Semis. For all others who've qualified there's just one rule of thumb to follow: qualify for the final. Because there, this evening, anything can happen!
