In mid-February, the 25-year-old German climber Yannick Flohé made the third ascent of Story of Three Worlds, an 8C+ boulder problem at Cresciano in Switzerland established in 2022 by America's Shawn Raboutou. The problem was repeated for the first time a few weeks ago by Austria's Jakob Schubert.

Located on the opposite side of the legendary Dreamtime boulder, Story of Three Worlds adds a powerful low start to Story of Two Worlds, which was put up by Dave Graham in 2005 as a continuation of The Dagger, established by Toni Lamprecht in 2003.

Writing on his social media, Flohé described the recent addition as featuring "one of the most unique moves on rock" he has ever encountered. He added, "I tried it for a few sessions on my last trip but couldn’t handle the cold and kept numbing out. This time felt way better with some sun, and after falling once on The Dagger, I took a long rest and sent it an hour later."

Flohé had not previously climbed Story of Two Worlds, but he has made some remarkable ascents at Cresciano in the past, including repeats of the 8C+ problems From Dirt Grows the Flowers and Ephyra, as well as the first ascent Return of the Dreamtime (8C+) in 2023.
