A fortnight ago Belgium’s Simon Lorenzi established Big Conviction at Fontainebleau in France. As the name suggests, the new variation links the start of Conviction low with Big island; the suggested grade is 8C+, making it one of the most difficult boulders in the forest. Here’s the video of the first ascent.
