Sardinia Bloc, new boulder problems in Sardinia

Pietro Dal Prà and the La Sportiva team provide an update about Sardinia Bloc, the climbing trip from 9 to 17 November to discover the unexplored boulders of Gallura in NE Sardinia.

The "Sardinia block scouting" event is proving to be a fantastic climbing trip with friends: top athletes, La Sportiva staff and local climbers all searching for new lines and bouldering areas.

Until now 70 problems have been cleaned and climbed, all of these bar one have never been climbed before, with difficulties ranging from 5a to 8a+. The team has visited four areas so far: two around Arzachena and two beneath Monte Pulchiana. What has been climbed so far is only a tiny part of what nature has generously provided. There's much in store for the next few days, the potential for development is high and psyche is high.

At the end of the trip we'll update you with precise information about how to get to the new bouldering areas, about where to stay, the boulders that have been cleaned and climbed so that everyone can enjoy these wonderful areas.
