Sarah Seeger climbing Chrisu 8c, Rottachberg, Germany
Manuel Brunn
German climber Sarah Seeger has returned to her roots - i.e. the Allgäu region in southern Germany - to "end an odyssey" and send Chrisu at the crag Rottachberg. The 31-year-old had first attempted the line in 2009 but she then moved to the Frankenjura and concentrated on other projects which included, above all, the 8c climbs Steinbock and Odd Fellows. But Chrisu had left its mark and Seeger, with some unfinished business to settle, returned for the 4th summer in a row and finally redpointed the line.
