Pirmin Bertle boulders hard in Patagonia
It should have been a journey with his young family to simply rest, recover and discover Patagonia after his first ascent of Meiose 9b at La Tribune, Charmey in Switzerland. But even at the end of the world the bouldering proved too enticing for Pirmin Bertle and so the German climber invested 10 days on a problem at Dorotea close to Puerto Natales in Chile which he feels may be one of the hardest not only in the region, but also throughout the rest of Latin America. Those who repeat the line will help clarify things, in the meantime Bertle has put forward 8B+/8C for his The cold and smelly breath of death.
