The Dolomites continue to be the breeding ground for new routes: earlier this summer Manuel Stuflesser and Norbert Weiss spotted an unclimbed line on the highly popular II Sella Tower and consequently made the first ascent of the airy Batajan (7+, 325m). Further east, Massimo da Pozzo added Via Zoe (300m, 7b max, 7a oblig) on the Lastoni di Formin, Dolomites.
