Melloblocco 2016 start: sun and bouldering galore

Note to mellotravellers: Melloblocco started this morning, kissed by the sun! Yes, the Valley is flooded in brilliant sunshine this morning. This is obviously a great start. Many climbers have already arrived. Many are making their way to Val di Mello. While others are already struggling (guess what?) ... with the boulder problems.

Today the agenda includes constant new arrivals, early valley explorations and the first taste of bouldering. Loads of foreigners are already in the valley, in fact they’re usually the first to arrive. In the meantime it seems as if this year the T-shirts are selling like hot cakes. Of course there's the new MelloApp: the guidebook to climb and play at Mello. Tonight will be a special night with the ReelRock debut film ... followed by the Mello night ... with all the "usual" things, improbable and unpredictable, that happen at Melloblocco.
