French bouldering in Hueco
Liv Sansoz, Arnaud Petit, François Petit and Stephanie Bodet bouldering in Hueco, USA
It’s been a long time since we’ve heard from Liv Sansoz. Having won almost all there is to win, Liv was forced to take a couple of years off due to injury. After a long road to recovery, she recently wrote to us to tell us how she’s getting on. Judging from report, and her recent visit to Hueco along with François Petit, his brother Arnaud and Stephanie Bodet, Liv is back and having fun. And that’s what this game is all about, isn’t it? Hueco bouldering by Liv Sansoz After almost two years without climbing, I tried to come back last year and take part in some competitions. But I really wasn’t on form and, more importantly, not ready yet mentally. But I love climbing and so I decided to take it easy for a while, climbing easy things and finishing a part of my University degree. In January I tried to climb more and wanted to climb and travel again. And so, together with François Petit, Arnaud Petit and Stephanie Bodet, I travelled to Hueco at the start of March. Stef had pulled her finger tendon just before coming, so unfortunately she couldn't really climb (well, she did a nice V9, "mushroom roof" what is already a good performance...) We climbed the problems listed below and many other ones too - lots of very nice problems, not hard ones, but with such beautiful moves! We really enjoyed this trip and I hope to come here again, perhaps next fall or winter. There are so many problems still left to climb… Ciao for now! Liv Hueco report 1-15 March Arnaud Petit: "Sarah" (sit start V12) 2nd try "Chablanke" V12 "Rogered in the shower" V11 2nd try "Free Willy" V10/V11 "Swiss crisp mix" V10 flash "Power of silence" V10 François Petit: "Right martini" V12 "Rogered in the Shower" V11 Liv Sansoz: "Chablanke" V12 "Swiss Crisp Mix" V10 Stephanie Bodet: "Mushroom roof" V9 (despite pulled finger)
