Good news from the Valle d'Aosta where the Arnad town council has reopend the historic crag Corma di Machaby. Access to the crag had been prohibited after a serious accident occurred on 21 April 2012.
The lifting of the ban arrived by email today directly from the Technical Service stating "we hereby communicate that bill No. 6 passed by Arnad Town Council on 18/05/2012 revokes the order 5/2012 which prohibited access to the above mentioned crag."
So, the green light is back on for climbing on Pilastro Lomasti, il Paretone, la Gruviera, Case Fara (zone Opera Rock and Mitico Vento) and Paretina. Safe climbing to everyone!
