Caroline Ciavaldini & James Pearson in Sardinia
Pearson archive
In April and May this year James Pearson and Caroline Ciavaldini travelled to Sardinia in search of some of the island's hardest multi-pitch climbs. The booty, despite the poor weather, was impressive: repeats of Aria (8a+, 350m), first ascended by Pietro dal Prà on Punta Plumare, Mezzogiorno di Fuoco (8b, 270m) established by Rolando Larcher, Maurizio Oviglia and Roberto Vigiani on Punta Giradili, and Amico Fragile (8b, 230m) on Monte Donneittu by Matteo Della Bordella, Fabrizio Fratagnoli, Simone Pedeferri and Marco Vago.
Trailer by Pietro Porro and Riky Felderer, music by Luca Tommasoni and Giovanni Pagani. The full-length 25 minute film will be available to download soon.
